Interview in Bowling Green, Kentucky

On Tuesday, April 5th, Think Harder & friends traveled to Bowling Green for an interview with Western Kentucky University's radio station, 91.7 the Revolution.

We made some stops along the way, One of which was the one and only National Corvette Museum. We stopped by the Capitol Arts Theatre for our upcoming benefit show, Local Preserving Local. Our last stop was the radio station in WKU's campus. There, for the first time in recorded history, a Think Harder song (Breaking Free) was played over the radio. We talked about our album and upcoming shows, and even performed two songs (Nicole and Monster) Acoustically. Check out the pictures from the trip, and the video blog that we made!

This Tuesday, April 5th, Think Harder will be down in Bowling Green, Kentucky for a radio interview on WKU's College radio station, 93.7 The Revolution.

So if you are going to be down in Bowling Green on Tuesday, you should definetley tune in and listen to Think Harder's interview! This will be filmed, so that will cover our trip down there and us being interviewed in the actual studio!!!

On Friday, Think Harder competed in Mom's Music and ear X-tacy's Battle of the Bands in Louisville, KY. We had a great show, got some really good scores, some new fans, sold a lot of CDs, and got some cool new videos. Check them out!!

Photoshoot Drama/Videos In The Making

So, we had a little trouble with copyright issues/personal conflicts with the photographer that took pictures of us last week and had to remove the photos from the interwebz. (>Jacob's face when)

BUT! This Saturday we are going back, same time, same place, but new photographer! And with another photoshoot comes a new and improved video blog from Think Harder! We are going to start doing a lot of these.

I am also in the process of making like a little self-documentary thing about what we've all done in the last year. Right now it's called "How Far We've Come," but that might change soon. Gonna interview some people, so it should be a good 2 or 3 weeks until it's fully edited. For now, I'll just leave you with this 30-second teaser :)

Big Plans, Big Plans!!

Alright, so we've been pretty much stagnant since expo in October. With Deven leaving and us finding a new guitarist (Anthony, who is awesome) we've had a lot to work through. Getting Anthony up to par with everything hasn't been too hard, and now we're finally on the path to writing new songs, perfecting our old ones, and getting some sweet gigs! So, without further ado, here are some of our upcoming things we've got in motion:

March 16th: playing a gig with inside the target car

Sometime in April: playing a gig with Traverser, who is doing a tour

June: we hope to do a small, weeklong tour in the second or third week of June. We’ll be going around places relatively close to Louisville (no world tour yet) and hopefully get some good gigs and build our fan base

So far, these are just possibilities (though they're definitely in the works) 'till then, tell your friends!! Buy our album! And keep listening

Hey guys! Guess who hasn't updated their blog in almost half a year?? US!!!

Anyways, here's what's been up:

We finished recording our Demo-EP thing, Greater Affection back in September. We held the release party at Expo 5 in Louisville on Halloween, October 31st. It went good.

We've played a lot of private shows recently, racking in the cash ;) We may record again sometime soon, but our songs will be more structured and it will sound a lot better. We're trying to plan a little mini-tour around Louisville, Covington, and Cincinnati. We'll let you know when we get the dates up.

In more recent news, our album is now on iTunes/Amazon/Zune/All those other places! Just search, "Think Harder" in your iTunes search bar, or "Think Harder band" in Amazon for best results.

Think Harder will be in the studio recording their first ever CD! It's titled: Think Harder: Greater Affection EP. We'll release the songs that will be on it in a future post.

We're hoping to release it on Halloween, we'll give a confirmation on that later. We're getting Stephanie from Dirt and Lace Designs to do the album art for us as well.

Germantown Cafe Concert

This was our best concert yet. We had a good number of people attending, the sound was just right, we had very few mess ups, and everyone had fun.

St. Andrews (Benefit for SEAM) concert

We raised around $350.00 for SEAM, (a mission that helps support financially-troubled people), and we got to play on the coolest stage we've played on yet. Except during the pre-show practice, the stage collapsed, causing some damage to keyboards, and somehow blew some channels on our sound board. It was also in a gym, so It was really echo-y. Not one of our best concerts. But we did a good thing by raising a lot of money for SEAM.

We want to thank everyone who helped setting up, filmed for us, etc. We want to thank the St. Andrews United Church of Christ for hosting the concert, and Paster Jimmy for all the work he put into it.

We also want to thank Patrick, for being a wonderful photographer, and hosting pictures on his website, Ball Point Sword. Check it out! If you would like to see photos from this event, click here.
